Our Business

Our cakes are homemade and are made fresh, never frozen! We do custom cake orders, not mass produced assembly line cakes. We are a family owned and operated business striving to provide you with the BEST cake you have ever had. We are not a full service bakery, at About Cake, Etc. we only do cakes. It's our passion and that comes through in our work. Our cakes are more than just butter, eggs, and flour...they are edible works of art.

Who We Are

Angel Kennedy - Owner & Designer

Angel has been decorating and designing cakes for almost 5 years. Her very first Wilton course started out just to be for fun. She wanted to learn how to do her children's birthday cakes. But after that first class she was hooked and she continued to further her studies in cake decorating. She has completed over 30 cake classes...and has received instruction from some of the world's most popular decorators. (To view a list of instructors click here) Angel also attends yearly ICES  mini classes and days of sharing in several different states. This ensures that she is up to date on the latest trends and designs. Angel is a proud member of ICES, the International Cake Exploration Society and a member of TNICES, the Tennessee chapter of ICES.
